Description:

Our client is a prestigious Asset Management Company.

Within the CTG- Marketing area, the business analysts work closely with both business partners and the development teams to facilitate the project and relationship management processes. The business analyst understands all areas of the Marketing business and apply it to the organization's technology. Ultimately, the business analyst team represents the business on all technology and business process related efforts.



Principal Responsibilities:
•Perform project level business analysis including but not limited to gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting current state analysis and developing business workflows.
•Act as liaison between our Marketing business and technology partners as it regards all technology and business process related efforts
•Help individual Marketing areas to define their technology strategy and build roadmaps while ensuring alignment with overall Marketing and enterprise goals.
•Provide management and oversight for the more junior members of the team
•Work with our Agile team to perform necessary business and data analysis functions
•Interact with Marketing business partners on a regular basis and assist them in managing their priorities, developing their business cases/plans and defining scope.
•Interact with technology partners on a regular basis and communicate business needs and changes in process and/or strategy
•Handle day to day project and support questions/issues from the business
•Work closely with Enterprise Project Management Organization to ensure that best practices are being adhered to.
•Facilitation and project coordination across functional teams, business groups and vendors
•Primary contact for Vendor Relationship and Management related to Marketing platforms
•Participate in Product Selection and Evaluation, including the RFI/RFP process


Job Requirements:
•3+ years of Business Analyst experience in a Marketing
•Proven ability to successfully engage with challenging stakeholders
•Strong knowledge of the sales force automation business – specifically as it pertains to Marketing
•Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
•Experience working within Agile methodology framework
•Knowledge of the financial services industry
•Proven ability in successfully capturing and understanding business requirements
•Proven ability in successfully participating in and helping to complete data-centric projects
•Proven ability to successfully lead an analysis project
•Strong working knowledge of Marketing automation tools
•Previous experience with social media, mobile channels, digital media
•Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
•Understanding of metadata concepts
•Works well both in teams and independently
•Excellent organizational and documentation skills
•Strong communication and leadership skills
•Strong work ethic, intuitive self-starter, strategic thinker
•Excellent client relationship skills providing exception customer service to our business partners
•Advanced understanding of MS applications with focus on data analysis (Excel), presentation (Visio, Word, PowerPoint) and project planning (MS Project)
•Experience with business intelligence, reporting packages and data warehouses a plus
•Hands on experience of working with SQL a plus
