International Senior Tax Manager

With over ninety non U.S. subsidiaries, the company is looking a competent International Senior Tax Manager to join the tax team during this period of robust business expansion.  He/she will report to the Director of Tax in Austin, Texas and will be responsible of the international tax team to manage the international tax aspects of the company’s operations.  The position is based in Austin and will be eligible for relocation allowance.

The list of main responsibilities is listed as below:


  • Take ownership of the preparation and review of US international tax computations including transfer pricing calculations for AMER, EMEA and APAC subsidiaries.

  • Manage external tax service providers on annual US and foreign transfer pricing documentation projects.

  • Manage international tax provision, including analysis of uncertain tax positions reported on local jurisdictions’ income tax returns. 

  • Take ownership of the preparation and review of international tax forms such as Forms 5471, 8858s, 1120-Fs and other relevant disclosures

  • Support foreign controllers in managing non-US corporate income tax compliance prepared by external tax service providers. .

  • Manage tax planning projects and strategic initiatives related to non-US subsidiaries.

  • Collaborate with internal/external business partners to promote and manage efforts in designing international tax provision and compliance process improvements.

  • Manage and support non U.S. tax audits

  • Support merger and acquisition activities (including integration) of the company

  • Manage international tax team and tax contractors as needed.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Six or more years of international tax experience in a large public accounting firm or the high technology industry.

  • Demonstrated expertise with international income tax, transfer pricing, and foreign transaction tax concepts and systems.

  • Excellent research skills and verbal/ written communication skills.

  • Experience preparing worldwide tax provision

  • Detail oriented, analytical, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of General Ledger Accounting

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Masters in Taxation, Masters in Accounting, or JD/LLM (with undergrad in business related field) required

  • CPA preferred
