Public Relations Director
Description:Responsible for managing media relations and global agency as well as the content it delivers. Ensures brand message is consistent, timely, and relevant. • Develop, drive and evaluate complex PR strategies and programs that are consistent and aligned with the company’s strategic vision • Work with agency and internal teams to prepare news and launch activities, including coordinating media, influencer and blogger interviews, tours, events, generating releases, and other materials as appropriate • Cultivate and maintain relationships with top media, influencers, bloggers and industry leaders (business, national, global) • Work with media outlets to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials. • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision. • Work with PR agency and media outlets to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials. • Advocate on behalf of the company brand with external stakeholders and the media across all communications channels and vehicles. • Collaborate with marketing team and leveraging relevant programs • Strong writing and editing skills required • Contribute to the development and adoption of innovative PR principles and practices across Flextronics • Functional or department budget management • Scope can be local, regional or global • Represents Flextronics on the most sensitive and complex company or country issues that could impact the Flextronics brand and reputation • Ability to interact with senior levels of the company and handle confidential and sensitive company information *LI-USAEX Minimum (MUST HAVE) Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications as well working in or managing PR agency and large global media programs Preferred (NICE TO HAVE) Qualifications : • High Tech PR experience, PR agency experience Education or Training: • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing
