Description:Support Huawei brand and product communication worldwide by locating, developing, defining, negotiating , closing and activating marketing and PR related business relationship with Huawei global partners which includes but not limited to Google, Facebook, Twitter, Qualcomm, App developers, Content developers, and other industry related communities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions Global partner relationship management · Identifing trendsetter marketing and PR opportunities to promote the brand and products thru business related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments. · Invoving global /regional business partners, contacting, screening potential marketing and PR opportunities by analyzing market strategis, partnership requirements, potentials, and financials, evaluating options, coordinating cross department and cross region discussion, resolving internal priorities, recommending investments and activation plan. · Developing negotiation strategies and positions, contacting potential business partners, discovering and negotiating marketing and PR strategies, benefits and activation plan with Huawei global partners. Strategy and Planning · Collabrating corporate PR team to develop Huawei Consumer BG corporate PR strategy with consideration of global partner opportunities, regional environment and business priorities. · Mataining and expanding relationships with global consumer technology media, lifestyle media and consumer market influencers in the North America region. · Developing a yearly PR activation plan (including budget forecast) according to Huawei Consumer BG Global event , global partner opportunities, regional environment and product lifecycles, to build the Huawei Consumer BG brand. Implementation · Managing the execution of PR activities according to the yearly PR plan · Supporting ad hoc interview, informational and product review requests, developing and managing an editorial calendar to help identify global storytelling opportunities. · Leading global ongoing media pitching, rapid response and reactive media relations · Overseeing the creation and maintenance of a library of PR materials , leading the PR management of crisis and issues for global consumer media and global partnership. · Implementing PR policies and procedures to streamline activities and ensure consistency. JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities); (refers to job, not incumbent) Education: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Master's Degree Major/Discipline: PR , Marketing, or Business Relevant Work Experience Minimum: Eight (8) years’ experience in a similar marketing or PR role within the telecommunications, consumer electronics or Internet industry. Experience in PR agency but work for clients in telecommunications ,consumer electronics or Internet industry counts. Preferred: Eight (8) year’s experience in carrier or consumer electronic OEM with global scale, serving as corporate PR manager or Regional PR director. Skills & Abilities: (Technical or General) Minimum Requirements: · Understanding of regional PR trends, the media environment, and the consumer landscape. · Experience managing communications for large organizations. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage the implementation of regional PR strategies and plans aligned with HQ priorities, including event publicity. · Experience in issues and crisis management. · Demonstrated ability to align internal and external resources, and coordinate with HQ and local teams to facilitate business innovation and development. · Excellent communication skills (oral and written proficiency in English). · Excellent written and verbal communicating skills · Experienced business presentation and public speaking skills · Fluent in the English language · Advanced project management skills, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple detail-oriented assignments while focusing on overall marketing objectives · Ability to respond quickly and effectively to a variety of changes and opportunities that impact role · Demonstrated negotiation skills and social awareness Preferred: Extensive knowledge of integrated marketing and business development. Bilingual(English and Chinese) is preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift/carry materials, move about the office, turn on and operate a computer in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. WORKING CONDITIONS (relates to physical environment): Standard indoor office environment.
