Description:

The Director of Strategic Planning and Public Relations will lead efforts to develop our corporate brand and product positioning, as well as appropriate content development to support marketing and sales initiatives. This role will work closely with internal marketing services, technology and sales teams to ensure that brand/product strategy is well informed and consistent. Further, the Director of Strategic Planning and Public Relations will research current customers and prospects to develop consumer personas and consult with product development and account operations. As a strategic thought leader, this role will further manage our PR agency with a focus on providing strong brand/product stories and content for media relations Position duties Lead and develop an integrated insights and strategic planning group Execute ongoing strategic analysis of brand positioning Develop a product marketing discipline for digital marketing solutions, including product positioning, key selling points and pricing input Analyze and provide insights on competitive landscape on a brand and product level Research and survey current and prospective customers to create customer personas and inform future product considerations Lead content development including whitepapers, onesheets and support sales staff Leverage insights and analysis to manage public relations partner Collaborate with PR partner to develop PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to enhance company perception Collaborate with internal teams to identify success stories for case study development Position requirements Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred 8+ years of strategic marketing experience Experience managing teams Marketing background and strong analytical capabilities a must.
