"The Director of Global Public Relations & Communications is responsible for delivering significant and impactful media results by implementing a global PR strategy though oversight and on-site execution of regional customer and press events around the world. Foster an enviorment of open communication, best practice sharing as the team's regional liason for all media and special events by providing a keen and educated POV of market and cultural nuances. This position is responsible for ensuring all regional strategies, PR communication and event needs are being delivered to the markets in a timely manner and are in keeping with the standard of a global luxury brand. This individual is an events and media expert with a sophisticated regional knowledge of trends and nuances ensuring best in class results. Responsible for the culviation of strategic partnerships through endorsements with celebrities, influencers and brand intergration. These partnerships must resonate globally, be cutting edge and elevate the brand messaging through both traditional and new media channels. Responsibilities Work with and cultivate stong collaborative relationships with the regional PR teams to deliver best in class press/media coverage. Oversight of regional and special event execution around the globe for both press and customer. Cultivate strategic partnerships (celebrities/influencers) for the brand while redefining the concept of Tiffany hospitality.. Work with key Tiffany spokespeople on facilitating press and event needs including messaging, schedules and product needs as well as developing strategy and day to day liaising with the Design Directors office Communicate and ensure regional strategic needs are met within the central organization. Develop compelling press programs to deliver media impressions and further brand affinity. Lead team while fostering an environment of job growth and productivity Qualifications Must posess 8-10 years of prior agency/corporate PR experience, preferably in a global role leading a team. Bachelor's degree. Understanding (sensitivity) of global cultures, traditions and consumer mind set Set standards for best-in-class media/press coverage Experience with events of all size, both press, customer (ideally selling) Knowledge of best in class global vendors Consensus builder Diplomatic Well connected to key influencers and decision makers Unique insight into cultural trends and current zeitgeist/pop culture Strong relationships within Hollywood (TV/Film/Music/Celebrity - Studios, Agents, Stylists, etc.) Decision Maker/Strong Judgement Skills Strategic thinker delivering on short term goals while building upon long range plans Process oriented Experience with a variety of media channels (traditional and digital) Articulate speaker Ability to represent the brand (internally/externally) across all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills Willing to travel Great Presentation Skills Sense of refinement/good taste/understanding of luxury brand Budget Planning Ability to communicate cross functionally Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong multi tasking Fluency in a foreign language strongly preferred."
