Description:This position will lead the team. The ideal candidate is a great analytical thinker and communicator with outstanding facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Possesses proven skills in leading ‘Agile’ teams through an entire project lifecycle in large enterprise organizations. Demonstrates strong experience leading development teams and coaching, training, and presenting Agile concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in large portfolio management engagements using scaled agile framework principals is a plus. Other Responsibilities: Work with agile teams and Product Owners on Agile theory, practices, and rules Facilitate/Ensure that all team-related Scrum events take place and that attendants understand their purposes, teaches all to keep within the time-boxes Coach Product Owners on continually adapting and prioritizing the backlog Ensure that Agile metrics are being tracked daily, monitor them for indications of current or potential problems, and help the team find solutions to those problems Coach agile teams and Product Owners on ways to improve their activities Assist in Release Planning Capture Team Capacity Hours for the planned upcoming release and for each sprint therein Facilitate Team Breakout Sessions with an eye on process and related best practices; provide coaching where needed Help update Release/Program Plan with Features and Dependencies Facilitate Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews (including Team Demos), and Sprint Retrospectives, always with an eye on process and relevant good practices; provide coaching where needed Ensure that Sprint Planning artifacts are created and captured, e.g. Sprint Backlog, Sprint Goals, etc. Participate in Scrum of Scrums to communicate and help resolve team impediments and roadblocks Help resolve impediments that prevent agile teams Certified in one of the following: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, CSM 5+years of experience using Agile practices in an enterprise environment Interpersonal skills to interact with team members Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with applying Agile development methodologies to Operations and Maintenance of legacy systems Verifiable experience introducing and leading implementations of Agile values, principles, and practices including (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP) into an organization
