Agile Project Manager Job
Description:Join a dynamic team as a project manager and Scrum master to support a large federal client by applying information technology solutions to their business processes. Manage the Agile development process for a team of software developers and business analysts and guide them on proper implementation of Agile and Scrum practices. Manage complex initiatives across multiple functions and integrated project teams by planning and coordinating to the project objectives with consideration for risk. Interface with the software development team leads and government stakeholders in supporting their roadmap and vision by prioritizing features, release planning of backlog, and system demos. Facilitate the Scrum process of planning, staff meetings, reviews, and retrospectives with team and remove impediments to progress. Embrace, coach, and steer Agile best practices and principles within the team and define and refine Agile metrics to understand team performance. Establish milestones, anticipate issues, and monitor adherence to project scope, requirements and design documents, schedules, and to the SDLC process. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -4+ years of experience with project management-2+ years of experience as a project manager or scrum master on Agile software development projects using Scrum-Experience with writing user stories-Experience with requirements analysis-Knowledge of enterprise software development life cycle -Ability to work in a dynamic environment using Agile methodologies-Ability to develop project plans, schedules, and other project documentation-Active Top Secret clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with using Jira Agile software-MA or MS degree -Certified Scrum Professional Certification a plus-PMP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
