The Role: This manager role is designed to deliver scrum master activities across multiple work streams within the Video Conferencing and Audio/Visual (A/V) portfolio of services. This will include leading the team through Agile ceremonies, ensuring work is continuing to move through the various processes, holding team members accountable for completing tasks, and providing report information for leadership. Additionally, this role will take on a large project portfolio that specializes in Audio/Visual integrations. This role will coordinate between our A/V supplier, Corporate Facilities, and Building Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated Video, Audio, and Presentation capabilities in our facilities. This person will need to have superb task tracking skills, ability to drive direction across multiple teams, hold groups accountable, and provide guidance on Audio/Visual technologies and governance practices throughout the project process. Responsibilities: -Schedule/facilitate sprint planning meeting(s) prior to the beginning of each sprint. Work with product owner and delivery teams to groom stories in advance of each sprint. - Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to the backlog owner and stakeholders - Schedule and facilitate daily stand up meetings - Represent your team’s activity and progress amongst the greater Workplace Technology delivery forums. - Monitor team backlog - Facilitate team representation in Sprint Reviews - Facilitate release retrospective and cross team retrospectives - Possess a strong drive to complete tasks when faced with ambiguity - Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost effective manner - Be active in a community of Scrum Masters to receive mentoring from Agile coaches as well as provide coaching for other teammates sharing best practices and lessons learned. - Manage business relationships with other component teams necessary for product release -Supplier accountability for providing A/V design and integration services -Manage intake and exception process for all incoming A/V requests -Oversee/coordinate an integration project portfolio of 60 simultaneously running projects - Set clear expectations with all A/V project stakeholders on timelines, costs, and prioritization - Push back and escalate as needed to ensure successful delivery of all projects - Provide clear communication on a regular cadence to all stakeholders regarding ongoing status Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business or Project Management - CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CST (Certified Scrum Trainer) - PMP or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM) -2 years experience leading scrum teams -2 years experience in project management -2 years experience delivering Audio/Visual equipment integrations - 2 years experience working with Audio/Visual technologies Preferred Qualifications: - 5 years of experience in Project Management - 4 years of experience in A/V Integration Capital One will not consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.
