We are currently seeking a Development Manager , to join our Tax Transformation and Technology Practice in our Roseland, NJ office. Responsibilities: Manage various software development projects for a key tax product line Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD Work as a solution architect and manage teams as a scrum master by taking ownership of software architecture, quality, performance, security and scalability on software products Prepare and plan project timelines, estimates, staffing, scope, milestones and release software by collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, other teams and third party vendors Stay current with technology and improve technical knowledge and capability within the department Provide mentoring and guidance to team members and promote collaboration with other teams Qualifications: Minimum five years of experience designing and developing applications using .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET VB.NET, SQL Server, WPF, WCF, and current version of Visual Studio Bachelor’s degree in a technical area from an accredited college or university Previous experience with client facing product development and delivery Experience leading a team of developers or prior experience as a solution architect with hands-on experience on architecting software solution for enterprise use Demonstrated leadership in technical analysis, design, and engineering of core business applications KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
