Description:The Senior Program Manager for Samsung.com will oversee the overall planning, organization, operations and day to day implementation of both strategic projects and always-on initiatives for Samsung.com. The Senior Program Manager will direct a team of resources over time whose responsibility will span the breadth of strategic and operational priorities. Operational priorities will include responsibilities such as managing workflow capabilities for the team, monitoring and managing overall site uptime, performance, availability and quality, and directing day to day digital operations task. Strategic priorities will include collaborating with product and marketing managers to coordinate the launch and evolution of site functionality, platform implementation and upgrades, as well as integration with wider Samsung initiatives such as smart home, enhanced loyalty, ownership experience, apps store-front, native mobiles experiences and interfacing and coordinating with Global counter-parts on key initiatives. As a key leader of a fast-paced, highly motivated, and fast growing Digital Marketing organization, the ideal candidate for this role will be a strong cross-functional leader with deep experience in digital program management, project management, financial and budgeting management, strategic thought leader in digital marketing and digital technologies, and an experienced people leader with strong communication skills. An ideal candidate for the role will: • Define and own the overall program plan across strategic and always-on initiatives for Samsung.com. • Manage and monitor broad portfolio of projects through end-to-end delivery process, working closely with project managers, marketing managers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of stakeholder expectations. • Proactively engage cross-functional teams and various lines of business to understand and communicate status, priorities, risks and issues • Lead ad-hoc assessments on a variety of topics, collaborating with multiple functional areas and clearly communicate findings to leadership to drive operational improvements • Refine and develop program-level dashboard to effectively serve multiple audiences; incorporate status, risks/issues, executive decisions as well as key performance indicators to track and measure success • Define and execute program level routines through effective meeting scheduling, meeting facilitation, documentation of outcomes and next steps • Develop and refine communication and reporting processes to maximize program efficiency, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. • Flexibility to wear multiple hats including lead business analyst, digital operations manager and project manager based on project and team needs. • Collaborate with UX and Content teams as well as extended teams to map and manage project timelines and deliverables to available resources and overall program schedules. • Implement processes to ensure that quality of the experience is maintained through site iterations and product data and content evolution. • Create, establish and manage processes and tools for the organization to track projects, workflows, financials, defects, and deliverables. • Manage a team of full-time and contractual Project Management, Business Analyst and Digital Operations resources. • Drive Center of Excellence capability for program and operational management with global knowledge sharing, thought leadership and collaboration Necessary Skills / Attributes • Passion for the customer, for creating great customer experiences, and for solving complex problems • Extensive experience in project management, financial management, budgeting and planning. • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, AtTask, Apptivo, Trello, Jira, Basecamp etc. • Extensive experience creating project plans, dependency charts, resourcing plans bringing • Extensive experience with software development methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, Kanban etc. • Experience managing project management, business analysts and operations resources. • Refined project management skills with an ability to translate broad business requirements into actionable project plans that deliver highly refined digital products and capability deliverables • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, execute and educate • Fluent in industry trends and able to make recommendations on forward-thinking initiatives • Proven relationship-building skills and confidence to seek answers within teams, business units, and large organizations • Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines while guiding others to do the same • PMI Certification / SCRUM Master Certification desirable • Understanding of web development and hosting technologies a plus • Understanding of CMS environments, digital platform and capabilities desirable • 8 – 15 years’ experience in digital marketing, program management or technology capability • 5+ years’ experience is project / program management • Curiosity and a drive to change the world BA/BS required (preferably in engineering or business specialties); MBA/advanced degree preferred.
