Responsibilities: Provides leadership and professional development for a team of project management professionals Establishes and refines sound project management methodologies, processes and workflows Creates project management uniformity by crafting and maintaining standard templates, process diagrams and a document repository Works with COO and VP, Client Services to create and maintain a reporting suite that yields transparency and insight into project and portfolio performance Works with Engagement Managers to construct solution-oriented recommendations for clients that align with short term and long term business goals and may participate in negotiating program and project strategy, scope and cost Establishes relationships with all internal departments, positioning the Engagement Management for success within the organization Guides project managers and serves as escalation path for PMs to manage client and internal expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality service Regularly solicits client feedback regarding project management practice and manages accordingly Required Experience: 10+ years of experience managing complex projects and programs from alignment through design and technical implementation 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of portfolio or project management methodologies and tools, risk management, resource management practices and change management techniques 5+ years of experience leading Client Services as a model for service delivery, being cognizant of costs and quality control 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams (including design, development and QA) 5+ years of experience designing and constructing business processes, functions and organizational structures Solid understanding of different project methodologies, including Agile and Scrum Demonstrated ability to motivate, support and understand different project team members Self-motivated with excellent problem solving skills and negotiation skills Exceptional presentation, verbal, written, and overall interpersonal skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations Competencies in MS Project, PowerPoint and other common communications tools Preferred Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification or other certifications demonstrating understanding of different methodologies a plus “Hands-on” experience working with an ERP and PPM solution, such as NetSuite / OpenAir Understanding of management and HR policies and practices Understanding of Sales cycle and use with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Bachelor’s degree in business management, mathematics or computer science Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira Travel: This position may require up to 15% travel
