Position Description
The Mobile Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the strategic path for both current and future telehealth applications. He/she will be engaged in the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases, including new features and new opportunities. He/she will provide end-to-end product management of clinical solutions. This includes managing through the development lifecycle as well as working with functional department leaders and executive management to achieve revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.

This candidate is going to be Jr./Mid Level 
Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the mobile apps product definition from early opportunity and justification, detailed featured definition and use cases, ongoing prioritized fit within strategy to final development and end of life
  • Collaborate with Senior Management, Engineering, Program Management and Marketing on product development during the discovery phase to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features
  • Create high level prioritized features document to define eventual product specifications to be used during early part of development phase
  • Generate detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRD’s) with feature details, user flows, use cases and user experience
  • Work with Engineering, UI/UX and ID to identify and bring new concepts into consideration and flesh out ideal solutions
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to conduct product use research when necessary to identify critical or deep product use requirements for various solutions
  • Collaborate with Engineering and UX to finalize solution concepts that achieve product and user requirements; align with teams and present to senior staff
  • Make recommendations for difficult tradeoffs relating to product features, cost and schedule
  • Be the champion for the mobile apps ecosystem features and capabilities
  • Maintain and prioritize the mobile apps roadmap
  • Track various competitive and industry solutions that are critical path to vision
  • Work with Brand, Marketing and UI/UX teams to ensure experience is consistent and meets brand image
  • Work with Program Managers to ensure product vision is maintained throughout the later stages of the product development process as well as ensure schedule and budget are within target

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • 2-4+ years of product management experience in app development with a focus on iOS, Android and Windows Phone
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile services
  • Comprehensive mobile app development experience
  • Ability to think on your feet and quickly make well-reasoned decisions with a limited data
  • Ability to accept and implement ideas from others
  • Detail oriented
  • Capable of leading or directly managing an individual or team
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary cross functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast paced “startup” type environment
  • Moderate travel may be required
  • Proven and successful track record with cradle to grave product management on successfully shipping product
  • Experience writing clear and concise Product Requirements Documents

Education/Experience

  • Background in web design/working knowledge of web technologies
  • Background in UX design
  • Mobile phone/Smart device product management
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred

Work is performed in an office environment. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
