On Call Rate:$5 hour pager Overtime Rate:All Inclusive Rate + $10 Call Back Minimum: Holiday Rate:All Inclusive Rate + $10 shift:Varied - Candidate Must Be Flexible Minimum Years Experience Required:2 Certification Requirements: General:ACLS, BLS, PALS Nursing:TNCC, PYXIS / TNCC MANDATORY Dialysis:NIHSS .Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (TNCC, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc.) General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Fast paced facility, sees 43,000 patients yearly, multitasked that is able to efficiently work independentlyEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems.Required skills and minimum years of experience. More than 2 yearsí¢ŒóŒ» experience, proficient IV skills, familiar with Stroke, STEMI and Trauma activations, Understands core measures and National Patient Safety Goals, familiar with AIDET and Press Ganey patient customer services ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, NIHSS, (Mandatory). NCI and Procedural Sedation (requested, not mandatory)Shift or schedule requirements. 8 or 12 hour shifts, scheduled 80-88 hours in 2 week period, manager to determine shift upon arrival, one on call shift per roster, at least one weekend off per roster. Floating to other units/departments. Determined by nursing administration, and will only float to units the employee has clinical abilities to work in. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.28 bed dept. that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavior health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitored rooms. Additional fast track area within the triage area that is able to accommodate at least 6 patients. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 1:4 and Fast track 1:6Dress Code:Scrubs, covered shoes, hair neatly pulled back from the face and put up in a ponytail if needed. Necessary nursing equipment. Males- clean shaven for necessary mask fitting purposes. Fast paced, fast patient turnover, team oriented, additional staff include Aides/ Assistants/Clerks and Clinical Coordinators. Receives between 16-24 hours on the unit with preceptor in addition to clinical and EMR training.
