The mission of a Connections Sales Director is to help brands and manufacturers directly engage with retail consumers through our growing Connections suite of products.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Proven track record for operating with autonomy in creation, management, and growth of a business portfolio
Primary focus on becoming a retail industry expert (e.g. home improvement, consumer electronics, etc.) while executing against a high-volume sales pipeline in order to exceed revenue target
Secondary focus on co-creation of industry-specific marketing and product plans to maximize growth of portfolio
Must bring or quickly develop an understanding of the relationship between retailers and suppliers
Must have an ability to articulate a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates value
Effectively creates and articulates ROI in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both the customer and Bazaarvoice
Must demonstrate strong program management and attention to detail in pipeline management, and communicate proactively with leadership throughout the sales process
Personifies passion and energy both externally with the customer and internally with cross functional teams
