Science Engineering & Weapon Systems Analysts
AT&T/GSI is currently looking for qualified analysts to provide direct technical design and analytical support to senior DoD leaders in making programmatic decisions and reviews. The analyst will serve as a Subject matter Expert (SME)-analyst on a team working directly on-site for DoD clients. Primary tasks will include: Perform technical design, assessments, and provide domain knowledge to support quantitative and qualitative analysis in the domains of space, cyber, C4ISR, strategic defense (missile, bio, chemical, and nuclear) to inform DoD decision makers. Work collaboratively with a diverse team of quantitative analysts, engineers, and scientists. Employ in-depth domain knowledge to inform analysis of alternatives; in some cases designing your own alternative. Work independently and collaboratively on assessments supporting quick turn questions, Program Reviews, Quadrennial Defense Reviews and other major DoD and Service-specific studies. Support and/or employ models to generate data and test hypotheses.
Competitive candidates will have strong credentials and experience in the following areas: 1.US Citizenship - DoD TOP SECRET//SCI Clearance 2. Masters Degree from an accredited university, in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Doctorate Degree is preferred. 3. Technical experience working in a particular domain (space, cyber, C4ISR, strategic defense (missile, bio, chemical, and nuclear) is required. 4. Strong analytical skills are required. 5. Minimum of 10+ years of experience required. 6. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. 7. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to be a team player. 8. Ability to make timely/logical recommendations or decisions in a variety of complex situations affecting the work team. 9. Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software applications (especially with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Experience with database software is a plus.11.
