A boutique specialty retail advisory and investment firm, which represents established fashion businesses and emerging consumer brands, seeks an Analyst.
Dallimore & Co. provides strategic consulting for and represents emerging contemporary and fashion clients in their retail expansion. In addition, we provide growth capital to select emerging brands. The company is approximately eight years old and our client list continues to grow. Our clients include UK and US based brands including many leading contemporary apparel brands. The analyst will join a small team (3-4 people) as we perform consulting assignments for multiple clients. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
Performing market, demographic and consumer analyses to identify each client’s most attractive expansion opportunities.
Utilizing historical financial information and future growth assumptions to create dynamic financial models.
Researching general market trends and monitoring each client’s competitive landscape.
Assisting in the preparation of powerpoint presentations and research reports.
General correspondence and administrative tasks.
Recent college graduate.
Quantitative experience (academic or professional) required. Experience with processing and analyzing significant amounts of data preferred.
Organized, with attention to details.
Entrepreneurial mindset with high level of flexibility and ability to multi-task.
Creative, self starter and fast learner with demonstrated initiative and positive attitude.
Interest and appreciation for fashion and retail, including business aspects.
Amiable and professional on phone and in person.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel (most important), PowerPoint, Word.
