Description:

• Design, model, develop and deploy databases schema and codebase on servers
• Execute database related assignments - for various teams - including database analysis, design, performance monitoring & tuning, security support and technical expertise
• Reviews and ensures solution and data integrity
• Provide DBMS expertise to various groups as requested
• Help with performance monitoring/measurement and stress testing benchmarks related to databases
• Participate and contribute in assessing new database technologies and vendors
• Ensuring delivered assignments are in accordance with database guidelines and standard, for applications development, testing and migration
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, for requirements, analysis, design and solution approaches

Experience/Skills Required

Minimum 2-3 years' experience with MySQL and MySQL Cluster
Experience with "" SQL programming, Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Data Modeling, Schema Development
Experience with NoSQL Database
Experience with "" Indexing, normalization, query optimization, DB version upgrades, replication, disaster recovery, business continuity, clustering for scalability, data-warehousing
Understanding of database design techniques
Understanding of data storage, backup and recovery techniques
Experience with tools like MySQL Workbench, Navicat Admin Tool, SQLYog, MySQL Front etc
Ability to construct and read object and data models in UML, and database schema notation in Entity-Relationship diagrams

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Sc. / IT / Electronics
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL
• Experience: 5-7+ Years

Desired Skills
• Familiarity with Load / Unload, Extraction, Data Dump and Import/Export facilities
• Understanding of Database monitoring and maintenance, Database tuning, Backup and Recovery
