Duration - 3-6 Months

Due Date for this Position is May 30th 2014

 

The primary goal of these resources is to work on significant enhancements to the Drivers Record Request System (DRRS) as business analysts and .NET developers.  More details of the application use and intent can be explained during the interview process.  The basic job duties will include; analysis of the existing system with customer input for automation and enhancement that will lead to development (code) work in .net and Oracle technologies.

Hands-on experience as a systems analyst; including but not limited to requirements gathering and developing functional design documentation.

Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)

Hands-on programming experience in following languages and environments including one or more of: Strong Web Development Skills, including: C#, ASP.NET, LINQ, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (inclusive).

Software engineering skills including, Test-Driven Development and Object-Oriented Programming with HTTP server configuration:  IIS 7 and Database Programming  in PL/SQL expertise

Experience with Visual Studio, Toad for Oracle, Oracle SQL Developer, or equivalent.  Experience Visual Source Safe, SourceGear Vault, or equivalent and Visual Unit Testing or equivalent

In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with designing and developing enterprise-class application system architectures with general experience with facilitating meetings with multiple customers and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary to deliver Detailed System Design and Requirements Analysis documentation

In-depth knowledge of the common design practices / standards / technologies associated with application accessibility (e.g. WCAG, ATAG, UAAG, WAI-ARIA, ADA, 508) including knowledge of best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability.

Experience writing stored procedures, triggers, functions and other database objects in Oracle 10g and 11.xxx.

Ability to work in a team environment with minimum guidance and nominal supervision.

Working knowledge of the requirements and standards associated 508 Accessibility and/or JAWS compliance techniques

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems is required.
