The selected Worker will be assigned to work for the Operations & Administration Area, Information Technology Division of the company. The Worker will work under the direct supervision of the Project Management Office Manager and the Project Manager Team Lead. Performs complex project management work. Work involves planning, directing and coordinating activities of designated IT projects, to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This includes securing resource time and coordinating the efforts of team members and/or consultants in order to deliver projects according to schedule. Defines project objectives and oversees quality control throughout the software development life cycle. Manages project scope, schedule, and budget. Will plan, assign and supervise the work of others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

 

 Essential Job Functions

•       Oversee the development of information technology computer application projects

•       Formulate and define scope and objectives of project

•       Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks

•       Serve as lead in the generation of project requirements

•       Establish standards for project reporting

•       Coordinate recruitment and assignment of project team

•       Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project team

•       Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications

•       Maintain technical and project documentation in centralized project repository

•       Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to management, project team and others of project status and related issues

•       Monitor project results against technical specifications

•       Generate test scripts for the project

•       Direct application/solution testing

•       Obtain, through customer satisfaction and acceptance testing, project signoff of completion

•       Lead and participate in project meetings with internal staff and external customers

•       Plan, assign and supervise the work of others

•       Perform related work as assigned

•       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology or related field (A PHOTOCOPY OF OFFICIAL COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY TRANSCRIPT MUST BE PROVIDED IF SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW)

•       Relevant experience may be substituted for degree on a year-for-year basis.

•       Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
