Currently looking for a contract development resource to help out with the creation of an incentive engines system to help us track and report on progress of our consultants on a variety of our incentive programs. We have an immediate need for a specific tracker, but the intent is to build this in such a way that the rules engine will support other incentive programs as well.
The assignment is planned to be a 4 month contract beginning as soon as we can find the right candidate. Client will work within a SQL Server environment and a bulk of the effort for this project will be at the database level creating the database objects and procedures to support the process to churn through our consultant performance data to determine how they are tracking for the incentive program. Therefore, we absolutely need someone with strong SQL Server database skills and the ability to help architect a solution by building a technical design and not just taking an existing spec and building what it says. Thirty-One resources will be able to help with this project, but this developer will be the primary resource to architect and develop the solution.
The ideal candidate will have application architecture and development experience and strong SQL Server Database knowledge. The candidate will be working closely with a BA on this project to understand the requirements so strong communication skills are essential. There will likely be the need to create a simple UI to enable management of the rules engine, so some experience in developing a UI is a bonus.
