JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs computer systems administration support work.  Work involves providing customer support for agency information systems and monitoring accounts in a mainframe environment.  Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.  Responsible for support, administration and on-going maintenance of Employee Account Setups to ensure compliance. Coordinates technical help desk support and coordinates the update of personal computer and mainframe application which affect necessary mainframe access.  Develops procedures and training manuals and conducts presentations and briefings. Establishes and ensures that appropriate security controls over software are maintained. Reviews and provides advice regarding the procurement of information technology equipment. Troubleshoots and resolves complex Access Criteria computer-related problems.

Administering, supporting and maintaining mainframe/legacy accounts.

Good experience in installations, repairs, upgrades and Backups.

Experience in Windows operating system.
