The system manages, tracks, and validates enrollment data collected in both paper form and electronically via the Internet. The Provider Interface (PECOS PI) allows users to register in I&A and to securely manage Medicare enrollment information. Functionalities include: • Submit an enrollment application to Medicare and check its status. • View or update existing enrollment information. • Voluntarily withdraw enrollment in Medicare. • The Administrative Interface (PECOS AI) allows Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to enter data, process paper forms, reconcile and approve the applications submitted electronically by Provider Interface.

Implemented as a relational database with Web User Interface (UI), MMS will be used by Catalyst Staff and Clients to maintain prescription eligibility and coverage data. Eligibility stored and processed within MMS is transmitted to RxClaim for adjudication.
